Starting from the ancient village of Spello we will reach the town of Assisi along
Via degli Ulivi (Olive trees path). We will climb up to the Rocca Maggiore, a
powerful military fortress built on the top of the hill in defense of the city and
the Tescio valley. The excursion will continue in the historical center of Assisi
passing through the Basilica of San Francesco. We will return to Spello on the
same route.
